Keya Banerjee is one of the youngest artistie of Dhrupad Dhamar belonging to Dagar Bani.
Inspired by her father & mother in music from childhood, she was educated in Visva Bharati, Santiniketan. From there she passed B.Mus, M.Mus, B.Ed. (Hindusthani Classical Music) with 1st class. She got traditional 'Talim' from a renowned artistie of Dagar Gharana Prof. Bidushi Smt. Kaberi Kar and Special Voice training under guidance of Rahim Fahimuddin Khan Dagar. She also received talim of Khayal, Thumri from Prof.monojit Mallick and Prof. Dilip Karmokar, Visva bharati.
She received 1st position of Dhrupad Dhamar in rajya Sangeet Academy in the year 2002 and she has performed at various conferences within the country. presently She is working as an Assistant Music Teacher in Govt. Higher Secondary School.
