Priyanka Mallick Pandey belongs to the illustrious Darbhanga tradition and represents the 13th generation of this musical lineage. Groomed under the tutelage of her father & Guru Sangeetacharya Pt. Prem Kumar Mallick and Dhrupad Legend Pt. Vidur Mallick. Awards and honours conferred on her are as follows: Gold Medal (President Award) in the National All India Radio Music Competition. 'Surmani' title awarded by Sur Singar Samsad, Mumbai. Also being Awarded National Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. A well-known Graded Artist in Classical & Semi-Classical music Vocal of All India Radio and Television. Successfully performed at many National & International music festivals in India and abroad - Germany, France, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, Austria, Italy, Finland & the UK. Her recorded album by international music companies includes: In Praise of the Goddess; Sacred World music and Goddess Divine Energy to name a few. Have successfully conducted several music workshops at various Universities and Institutions including Wiemar University, Berlin University, Center for World music (CWM) Hildesheim, Germany to name a few.
