Partha Bose is credited with a singularly distinct approach to music, reflecting an imaginative synthesis of virtuosity and creativity. Lauded by connoisseurs for his performances in major music festivals, Partha divides his time between Kolkata, his home, and rest of the world - performing, composing, teaching, lecturing at countless venues including reputed universities. Bose is possibly the first and only visiting Indian musician to be invited for 4 years in a unique project of lecture-demonstrations in Canadian schools funded by Ontario Trillium Foundation, Government of Ontario, Canada. He was also the only Indian musician in National Multicultural Festival of the Government of Australia in 2012. Partha Bose earned a rare distinction when tabla legend, Pandit Kishen Maharaj accompanied him in a sensational concert in Kolkata in March 2006, - the maestro's last performance in the "Mecca" of music.

International media - including BBC radio, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, German radio, Voice of America, Indian radio & television - have featured Bose in programmes and interviews to share his vision of life and of music. Partha Bose's music - in the form of audio CDs produced in India & abroad - is already a part of the legacy of Indian Classical Music.
The Government of India invited Bose to lead a cultural delegation to African countries on the historic occasion of Golden Jubilee of India´s Independence as a mark of special acknowledgement of his pre-eminence among the cultural elite of the country. Partha Bose visualizes music as a universal language which breaks barriers and reminds us of our shared humanity.
