Raag Shiv kauns is a rare raag that belongs to Kauns family. This is a pentatonic melody and combination of two ragas, basically. Raag Rageshri in Ascending and Raag Malkauns in Descending order. The combination GMGS gives the impression of Raag Jog. ” Ma” note is most prominent in this raag.
